Today was a good day for most of the drivers that came out. No one had a real serious issue with their car,
so that made for not having to mess with any broken vehicles on the track…
Mad Max with the super-stache had his car back together and running pretty well.
Luke managed to band-aid the front of his camaro up so he was able to run today as well.
Today managed to encounter one person COMPLETELY swapping lanes, and Gary in the john deere green mustang ALMOST swapping lanes twice, but he kept it in his lane and free from damage.
Also, we had a loss due to a safety disqualification. Wade Talley came into the burnout box and proceeded to do his burnout without a helmet on. Rules are that when you hit that box, you better be buckled up and helmet on BEFORE moving ANY FURTHER!!
Other than that, there was just some really good racing, some VERY CLOSE races, and lots of nice folks out to enjoy the tolerable heat, and good fun… I dont think I will be back in until 9/27, so if Shannon gets more pictures, I will do my best to figure out how to get them to me and posted up online for your viewing pleasure.
Thanks to everyone from the staff at George Ray’s and pictures are up, and video should be up by Monday morning early.
